Importation of Canine Frozen Semen: Where to Start, How to Proceed and Succeed with it
1. To contact the Department of Agriculture in Dublin (Pets Section) for the application form.
2. Fill in the first 2 pages of the application.
3. Forward the application to the exporting vet and make sure they certificate is signed and alternatives chosen.
4. Email or fax the filled in application to the Department of Agriculture.
5. When the licence is granted contact us with the detils of the veterinary clinic or semen bank from where the semen is coming, so we can make sure that all the requirements are satisfied.
6. Semen has to arrive in Shannon without landing anywhere else in the Republic of ireland for the clearance with the Department of Agriculture.
7. 48 hours prior to the arrival of the semen, the cheque and the complete form have to be sent to Border Inspection Point in Shannon for them to process with the clearance when arrived. (The information is available from BIP in Shannon or Department of Agriculture in Dublin.)
The semen has to be sent with DHL only.

All semen is tested for quality before exported and insemination. If semen is not satisfactory quality we do not use it. Our onsite testing facilities correspond to the international standards in human biochemistry. This is the only progesterone test, calibrated and certified for canine serum. We will give you the optimal timing for breeding. It is proven on hundreds problem females, who have never conceived before.
We have no financial interest in any sire and flat rate fees are applied. We provide complete breeding solutions from fresh AI, independent testing of bitches, onsite freezing, freezing in your own yard, storage of semen, transcervical insemination, export/import semen and surgical implants at our proven 7-day-a-week veterinary clinic with especially trained veterinarians to perform the inseminations.
